Day 2 - we are comming home!

Its 06:00 housrs and as robin williams said in good morning vietnam the 0 stands for oh my god its early. so what did you miss folks, well the taxi ride to the hotel was fun. for some reason best known to himself the taxi driver decided we were staying at the holiday inn. Paul told him that were were at a different hotel on st johns road after some sat nav checking we ended up at the connisthorpe hotel which is when Paul realised that we hadn't booked in here at all (because they refused to discount the rate mostly) when we realised that the hotel we were staying at was 2 miles back up the road opposite the holiday inn, oh how we laughed.
So we awoke at 5 this morning to start the home leg of the journey. The injury count is 2 blisters for paul, a torn achillies tendon (apparantly) for Mike Ian stubbed his toe on the bed so its all set for Si to make a stunning comeback as the only fit member of the team.
We are now in the airport at Edinburgh awaiting the flight while mike restles with his conscious as to whether he can drink coffee from costa coffee (yes mum we are not in the bar). Wales is the next stop on our charity extravaganza so see you there.

We have found a course with as many hills as werneth low. The sun shone and the golf was really hard work.
The scores on the doors are as follows
Paul 30 pts
Mike 29 pts
Ian 28 pts
Si 16 pts

Overall the scores are
Paul 58 pts
Ian 57 pts
Mike 54 pts
Si 46 pts

Well we made it all the way to Belfast without any major problems. Mike got his hair gel confiscated but it won't make much difference as he hasn't much hair anyway.

According to Macca the best golfer on the challenge, but can he handle the pressure ? Just ask Aussie Mike where Ian finished the last time we played golf overseas

It’s the madness of a very persuasive man, and several gullible friends, it’s a finely tuned plan and most probably a recipe for disaster.
If all goes to plan we will play four full rounds of golf in four different countries in 2 days!
Travelling the following route and hopefully raising some money for the when you wish upon a star charity (www.whenyouwishuponastar.org.uk) along the way.
