Paul told him that were were at a different hotel on st johns road after some sat nav checking we ended up at the connisthorpe hotel which is when Paul realised that we hadn't booked in here at all (because they refused to discount the rate mostly) when we realised that the hotel we were staying at was 2 miles back up the road opposite the holiday inn, oh how we laughed.
So we awoke at 5 this morning to start the home leg of the journey. The injury count is 2 blisters for paul, a torn achillies tendon (apparantly) for Mike Ian stubbed his toe on the bed so its all set for Si to make a stunning comeback as the only fit member of the team.
We are now in the airport at Edinburgh awaiting the flight while mike restles with his conscious as to whether he can drink coffee from costa coffee (yes mum we are not in the bar). Wales is the next stop on our charity extravaganza so see you there.
